Winston Middle School serves approximately 300 students in grades 6, 7 and 8. We  welcomed the 6th grade beginning the 2022-23 school year.  We are committed to creating a positive, safe, caring environment where students are valued respected, and encouraged to be successful.

We are taking applications for a 6th grade teacher to join a strong team; strong organizational, instructional and classroom management skills are a priority.    Music and physical education classes are taught by a specialist teacher in those areas.

Qualifications:

1. Current Oregon Teaching Endoresment with appropriate  Endorsement 
2. Knowledge of child growth and development with the ability to genuinely connect with middle-age students using PBIS strategies;
3. The ability to work cohesively and collaboratively with campus staff to help meet the needs of individual students;
4. Technologically adept.
